Snip, Snip!

What's up? Over the weekend I decided that another part of my problem with my hair thinning may be due to the fact that I have not had my ends clipped in a loooooong time, so I chopped a few inches off on Saturday. I immediately saw the difference when I put the comb through my hair, it feels so much better. I'm pretty sure my hair was splitting straight up the shaft to the root. I am even having thoughts of grander to chop it down really low to get rid of all the bad ends. We'll see where that idea leads.

I also did a deep conditioning this weekend and my hair feels heavenly, truly heavenly. I knew I would love the Elasta QP DPR-11. 1. I washed with Avalon Organic Rosemary Shampoo, 2. Conditioned with Avalon Rosemary Conditioner, 3. Applied the Elasta, 4. Wrapped hair in plastic wrap, went about my business of the day for the nest 3-4 hours, 5. Rinsed, 6. Applied my leave in, 7. Blew dry my hair, 8. Cut my ends, 9. Bumped the ends. Yes I wore it straight this weekend. I basically did it so I could see what I was doing when I cut my ends. Look at the difference!!!!!!

just because it was the "before" shot doesn't mean you had to make that face!

you have a lot of shrinkage, girl. your hair didn't look nearly that long when I saw you yesterday.

You are so bold to cut your hair yourself. I am so scared to do that because I messed up my hair really bad and had to go to the beautician because it was breaking REALLY BAD!!

At first I was scared, but then I was like, won't nobody know since it's curly. Derek had some hair scissors at home, he was helping at first, but he wasn't doing a good job, so I took the scissors from him and did it myself.
